It’s not only businesses in the waste management industrial sector that must continually review and resource improvements to their operations and management systems in order to remain compliant with legislation, but any business that produces waste (particularly hazardous waste) is obligated to ensure it controls its in-house waste matters correctly and compliantly.
The following services can be extended, to whatever level required; i.e. part-time assistance and support to complete project development and delivery:

- Facility compliance checks
Licenced or permitted waste facilities must be operated in compliance with their PPC / Environmental permit or Waste Management Licence. Independent auditing services are available and Gap-analysis reports can be produced to ensure your business is operating in a compliant manner.
- Downstream compliance audits – your waste handlers
Your Duty of care extends to taking all reasonable precautions that your waste is transported by a registered carrier directly to a transfer or disposal facility that is appropriately licenced or permitted to accept, store and transfer or treat it. Downstream ‘Supplier’ auditing is an effective measure to ensure that your waste is being dealt with correctly and legally.
- Authoring bespoke Environmental Management System documentation and procedures
Waste Management licenses and permits usually require the holder to underpin them with operational procedures that can vary from written instructions and other report forms and documentation, to full-blown Environmental Management Systems (not necessarily ISO14001). Any of these requirements can be supplied, using our authoring service, tailored to your business’s waste management activities and implemented with maintenance and user training if required.
