- Technically Competent Manager provision (CoTC holder for site attendance purposes)It is a legal requirement for waste management transfer or treatment facilities to be attended by a Technically Competent Manager (TCM), that is, a person holding a Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC) at the appropriate level – usually level 4. The level of TCM attendance is calculated from the complexity of the site and its total weekly operational hours. Most sites require more than one TCM. In the event of a TCM shortfall, e.g. medium to long term loss of a member of staff due to illness, etc. a ‘stand in’ can be supplied, to maintain your legal obligation.
- WAMITAB Waste Management QCF awards – Training and assessmentIn the event of your organisation requiring extra TCM’s, this can be provided using our excellent training / mentoring and assessment service, where your chosen employee/s are taken through the WAMITAB waste management award structure by an experienced and qualified QCF Assessor. This used to be known as the NVQ route to qualification, but has now been superseded by the Quality Credit Framework (QCF) system. See the testimonials below.
