DEFRA has confirmed that the MP for Suffolk Coastal will take on the government’s waste management brief. Dr Coffey was appointed by DEFRA today when Dr Colin Church, a former top waste official at DEFRA, was appointed as the new chief executive of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management.
